Parents (and others) often need positive, affirming statements to help us to navigate our way through life. So do children. The words, thoughts, feelings and emotions that reside in our consciousness – our conscious and unconscious minds - determine how well we perform in the world, how we communicate with others, and how we feel about ourselves.
Affirmations for Parents provides affirmations - statements that can help us to build the mental states that give parents the self-esteem and confidence to be able to communicate with their children in the way they want to.
Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a language that helps us to connect from the heart. It can teach us to honour both ourselves and those we communicate with – including children – by connecting with feelings and needs.
Here are some parenting blogs. I shall be adding more.

The words we use can give or withhold encouragement. The more our children hear encouraging words, thoughts and ideas, the more likely they are to do well in life and have the confidence to achieve their goals.
The more you, as a parent, feel confidence within yourself, the more you will be able to help your child/ren to develop conficence and self-esteem.
NVC defines empathy as connecting with feelings and needs. The more empathy we have for ourselves, the more we can offer empathy to others.
