In December of 2020, my sistas of the microphone (from The Female Solution) and I held the second Global Peace Summit. Among other things, we screened the documentary Injustice, followed by a discussion with the Director, Ken Fero. Released in 2001, Injustice covers seven families - six of them Black - who lost people due to encounters with officers of the UK police. 20 years later, these families are still fighting for justice. No police officer has faced the consequences of these killings. Please watch Injustice and listen to the conversation here. Plus go here for my recent interview with Ken Fero. As you can see from this poster, this is not just a problem that affects the U.S.A. or the UK. I strongly urge you to share this with your networks. We need to be cognizant of the fact that these events are not confined to the United States. This is an ongoing global problem. The Global Peace Summit included contributions from people on all seven continents, which included input from a police officer on how he felt about the kilings and what can be done. The next Global Peace Summit will be held in December of 2021. The 2021 blogs have been published on this page. Please share this with your networks. Thanks.
