The world is in a terrible and terrifying state, riven with violent conflict.  What can we do to transform violent incidents and situations, to build a culture of peace?  What can we do TODAY to change things?  This is what we discussed in the forum.   Go here to watch it.

TRIGGER WARNING:  Once again, I kicked off the Blogging Carnival for Nonviolence with a terrible, tragic, violent and preventable death of a young person, this time in Croydon, South London. 

15-year-old Elianne Andam was stabbed on a crowded bus on her way to school, apparently by a 17-year-old boy when her friend rejected flowers he was offering her.  Elianne tried to intervene in their argument.

Naimah Latif, the Executive Producer of my Success Strategies show on The Female Solution, has posted this video, "Nonviolence Starts With Parenting With Peace".  People all over the world are learning Nonviolent Communication (NVC), which is based on empathy.

I feel like the world is going crazy at the moment.  We have violence on the local, macro and global scales. 

In this most recent edition of my Success Strategies radio show, we talked about recent horrific incidents which took place in South London in the past few weeks. 

My guests were were Dr. Lynne Muhammad, founder of the STREAM Labs, and Pastor Charetta Hodge, who is on the ministerial staff of Christhood International Ministries of St. Louis.  Both of my guests attended the recent HWPL Peace Summit in South Korea, as did my Executive Producer Naimah Latif, an they share some of their experiences.
